ABOUT US

We are a volunteer group of Key Biscayne residents who are committed to promoting safer streets and roadways and engaging our community in bicycling for transportation and recreation.

Bike Key Biscayne was founded in the fall of 2012 to make the Village of Key Biscayne and the Rickenbacker Causeway more bicycle-friendly. In December 2012 the Key Biscayne Village Council designated our group to be the Village's Bicycle Advisory Committee. In early 2014 we applied to the League of American Bicyclists for Key Biscayne to be designated a Bicycle-Friendly Community. The League designated the Village of Key Biscayne as a Bicycle-Friendly Community at the Bronze level in May of 2014.
